Online poker is more than just clicking the button and watching chips move across the table. The experts are using sophisticated tools to get every possible edge. We don't support any illegal software, anything that we consider cheating, or any software that is directly prohibited by the poker room it is meant for. Other than those prohibitions, our motto when it comes to online play is...

"Make every nickel you can make, in whatever way you can make it. Poker is a game of money, and you should be doing everything you can (within the rules) to make as much of it as possible. There is no other reason to play." Or as Fox put it "I'd check raise my own grandmother if she bet into me after I flopped a set."

If we recommend a program on this page it's because we use it ourselves and we believe it is the best value of it's kind. Our descriptions are not all from the manufacturer's Web site, they are Fox's description of what the program does and how it is best used. If we recommend a program it's because we are certain that with proper use it will pay for itself many times over. Remember, if you aren't using these things you are at a big disadvantage, because your opponents are using them against you every day.

Bankroll and Results Tracking Tools - Not sure how well you're doing? Use one of these programs to track your results and you'll be amazed at the difference after you spend some time studying here at The Poker Camp.

Odds Calculators - Anything that calculates things for you and makes life easier is included here. If you aren't a math wizard then having one of these programs is invaluable, and if you are a math wiz then you probably already have one to save yourself the hassle. Even if you have the ability to calculate everything yourself, it's far more efficient to have it done for you so that you can use that brain power for better things like watching your opponents for tells or taking notes.

Hardware - Online poker isn't a terribly demanding use of your computer's processing power and with a small investment you can have a fine system that's fast, reliable, comfortable and easy on your eyes. It's like going to poker night at your buddies place and getting there early enough to get the most comfortable chair every time. After a little bit of research we have put together some useful advice for online players that will make your online poker experience much easier and maybe save you some eye strain.

Miscellaneous Tools, Extras, and Freebies - Anything that isn't covered in other categories goes here. Many of the programs and Web sites that our pros use every day will be in this category, and many of them are completely free!
